László Csicsmann

László Csicsmann is the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations at the Corvinus University of Budapest and a Senior Research Fellow either. He graduated from the Corvinus University of Budapest as an economist specializing in international relations, and was also awarded a doctoral degree from the International Relations Multidisciplinary Doctoral School of the said University in 2007.

He currently serves as the Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences and International Relations at the Corvinus University of Budapest, where he also acts as Head of the International Studies Institute, and a senior member of the Doctoral School. His main area of research is the political developments in the Middle Eastern region, with a specific focus on the possible integration of moderate Islamist movements. His other fields of study are Muslim communities in Europe, as well as the balance of power in the Middle East. He speaks English.
