Negar Habibi

Negar Habibi is a PhD student in the Department of Political Economy at King’s College London. She has conducted research on the impact of precipitation variations on the probability of conflict in Ethiopia as well as and the effectiveness of economic sanctions as a foreign policy tool. Prior to the start of her PhD she completed an MSc degree in Economics at the University of Warwick. Since then she has worked for the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime, the British Embassy in Tehran and the largest financial newspaper in Iran called Donyaye Eqtesad.
